Courses and schedules

During their doctoral studies, the PhD students of Doctoral School of Geology (DSG) take compulsory courses, optional and free, specific for DSG or transversal courses, given in the frame of other doctoral schools of University of Bucharest.

For the first year of doctoral studies, the compulsory courses are:

1. Research methods and statistics, course given by Prof. Daniel Scrădeanu;
2. Scientific writing, transversal course given by Prof. Mihai Emilian Popa;
3. Academic Ethics and Integrity, transversal course given for the doctoral schools of Geology, Biology and Geography.
